Welcome our two newest Titanium core contributors

by Marshall Culpepper on January 30, 2009

We are extremely excited to announce the two newest Titanium core contributors: Jorge Servin and Mark Obcena!

Jorge is the newest employee of Appcelerator, and joins us from North Texas. He’ll be working primarily on the Windows port of Titanium, and has already implemented a ton of new features for the PR2 release.

Mark (Also known as Keeto, or Markeeto), has been a vocal supporter, blogger, and “preacher” evangelizing the Titanium platform since the day PR1 was released. Make sure to read his in-depth blog post on the upcoming PR2 release, there’s a lot of exciting stuff in there. Mark joins us from the Phillipines where his first tasks are documenting the public Javascript APIs, and testing for the PR2 release.

We look forward to great things from both of these contributors, and we are keeping a lookout for other potential contributors in the future. If you are interested in getting involved, please drop by #titanium_app on irc.freenode.net, or post in our community forums.
